Bus: M46 to Wittenbergplatz, Tauentzienstrasse and Kurfürstendamm – the shopping mile with the famous KaDeWe department store.
Shopping facilities, cafés and parks are within walking distance.
THE KIEZ
Experience architectural contrasts, junk stores, markets, historic residential buildings, festivals and parks.
Schöneberg is one of the most colourful districts in Berlin. It ranges from the semi-detached houses of Steglitz-Zehlendorf to Nollendorfplatz, a vibrant gay and lesbian meeting place. A vibrant multicultural scene thrives between Winterfeldtplatz, home to Berlin's most beautiful weekly market, and the flea market on John-F.-Kennedy-Platz in front of Schöneberg town hall. There are also plenty of good restaurants and charming little shops, particularly on Goltz-, Akazien-, Grunewald- and Martin-Lutherstraße. Supermarkets can be found around the corner or on the other side of the street.
LEISURE
The Heinrich-Lassen-Park, which has a playground and sunbathing lawn, is a green oasis located between Belziger, Dominicus, Eisenacher and Hauptstraße. It is named after the architect Heinrich Lassen.
